The Chris Jones Shawnee Mission East VS Shawnee Mission South Shirt commemorates a memorable October 5, 2026, charity volleyball event in Overland Park Kansas. Kansas City Chiefs star Chris Jones joined teammate George Karlaftis for a special evening supporting local high school athletes and the Matthew Karlaftis Family Foundation.

Chris Jones Shawnee Mission East VS Shawnee Mission South Shirt – Celebrating a Special 2026 Charity Match

The Shawnee Mission East VS Shawnee Mission South Shirt features a white base with a prominent blue volleyball illustration centered on the chest. A large rectangular graphic depicts a volleyball above the net with two raised hands reaching toward the ball. The diagonal net and fine grid lines capture the movement and competitive spirit of the sport.
The year “2026” appears above the illustration, while three lines beneath the artwork identify the participating schools: “SHAWNEE MISSION EAST VS SHAWNEE MISSION SOUTH“.
Alongside the school names is the handwritten-style signature of the Matthew Karlaftis Family Foundation, connecting the design to the charitable purpose behind the game.
The classic crew neckline, short sleeves and relaxed silhouette make this volleyball-themed shirt a casual option for game days, community events or everyday wear.

Chris Jones Shawnee Mission East VS Shawnee Mission South Shirt
On Monday, October 5, 2026, Chris Jones and George Karlaftis served as honorary line judges during the Shawnee Mission East Lancers girls volleyball matchup against Shawnee Mission South in Overland Park, Kansas.
Rather than watching from the sidelines, the two Kansas City football stars helped officiate the match, even receiving instructions before stepping onto the court.
Several teammates including Ashton Gillotte, Kingsley Suamataia, Felix Anudike-Uzomah and Khyiris Tonga also attended to support the event.
The occasion raised money for the Matthew Karlaftis Family Foundation, named in memory of George Karlaftis’ late father. The organization focuses on improving opportunities and well-being for children and communities, including access to sports.
For fans, this volleyball shirt represents an unusual crossover between professional football and high school athletics. More importantly, it recalls a community fundraiser where recognizable athletes used their time to support young players and a meaningful charitable cause.
Whether worn by a Kansas City football supporter, a Shawnee Mission East Lancers fan, or someone who remembers the 2026 volleyball fundraiser, the shirt offers a connection to a particular moment in local sports history.
