The Rarity That 2EZE Is
Words that might come to mind when you read that are simple, unchallenging, or trouble-free. However, this is not how this brand came to be.
Experiencing tough times inspired the co-founders of 2EZE to create a brand to help and bring much needed unity.
When Josh Sims and Nate Robert-Eze met they instantly connected on their mutual love for design. Their humbling pasts have shaped them into hard working and caring people who want to help provide a platform for others to display their talents.
People like this are rare, so no wonder they have been able to change countless lives and create a brand that means something. These two driven individuals started up 2EZE while attending Ball State University around 2015 and soon after grew a following on campus.
They first sold their men’s and women’s clothing to family and friends but soon decided to reach a larger audience. To sitting in the Atrium on Ball State's campus, to their online store, to fashion shows in Indianapolis, IN, this brand keeps pushing forward.
Both of these individuals graduated in 2019 from Ball State University. Nate Robert-Eze graduated with a degree in Urban Design & Development with a master’s in Urban Design, and Josh Sims graduated with a degree in Design Technology and another degree in Urban Planning & Development. These two have an eye for design in many aspects of life.
Sims and Robert-Eze value hard work, faith, respect, and resilience. With all these qualities, you can turn a tough situation into a much “easier” process. This is what inspired their brand name. Together, they took part of Nate Robert-Eze’s last name and added a ‘2’ in front of it to create 2EZE. Meaning it’s just “too easy”.
The goal of this company goes beyond their brand. Like I said above, Sims and Robert-Eze like to help others with their future endeavors. Chatting with these two could completely change your life with their words of wisdom, positive attitude, and hunger for success. They want to create an experience with their brand and make a change.
Since 2017 they have put together a fashion show each year called Unity in the Jungle to showcase their collection while also helping others. They bring in aspiring models and designers to help them show their talent while also helping them improve.
Sims and Robert-Eze can see the potential in others and want to give them a chance to show the world what they can do. They want to make sure that their fashion shows bring unity, which is a major part of 2EZE.
Each year the show gets bigger and bigger, allowing them to reach a larger audience and possibly more unity. This year would have been their 4th annual Unity in the Jungle Fashion Show: A Flashback to the 80s. This fashion show would feature a theme of 80s fashion but had to be postponed to ensure safety during these difficult times. However, this just gives the 2EZE team more time to bring something even better to the table.
2EZE is dedicated to the empowerment of design and how it is used to inspire people. Josh Sims and Nate Robert-Eze use design to influence their brand and those around them. They are passionate about crafting innovative and forward-thinking pieces that inspire people’s creativity.
They believe that if we inspire the world, we can change the world.
